After a successful business career Ian purchased a home in idyllic Coffin Bay and moved there in 1999. Prior to that Ian and family had enjoyed January holidays in Coffin Bay since 1974.
In 2000 Ian acquired his first digital camera and a desktop computer and after learning some new skills decided to share the beauty of nature, from this wonderful part of the world.
Prior to this his photography had been limited to family holidays and his children growing up.
In more recent times Ian using his photos and computer skills created the many interpretive signs along the Coffin Bay Oyster Walk. In addition the majority of photos in the Coffin Bay Visitor Guide brochure, Face Book page and this website are Ian’s photographs. Ian also occasionally does photos for commercial use.
Ian’s photos are not restricted just to the Coffin Bay area as he has travelled much of this state and across its borders, even to the Rocky Mountains in Montana, USA.
