Description
EP Boat Hire is ideally situated to access the outstanding fishing and scenic waterways of Coffin Bay, Mt Dutton Bay, Port Douglas and Farm Beach. There are four boat launching options close by, of which, two are concrete boat ramps with floating pontoons and the other two are beach launches from Farm Beach or Little Douglas.
We have 3 boats for hire, all fully compliant with Australian Maritime Safety Authority regulations. All vessels boast Yamaha outboards, shade canopies and burley pots. All mandatory safety gear is provided including VHF radio’s and EPIRB’s. Children’s lifejackets are also available.
Our 4.55m Polycraft Drifter provides a great stable platform for fishing and sightseeing. A 50hp Yamaha four stroke tiller steer engine with electric start and power tilt and trim ensures an effortless day on the water. This boat has many extra features including level floatation, a chart plotter/fish finder, bluetooth stereo, live bait tank and tilt trailer. Maximum of 4 persons on board.
The 4.2m Quintrex Dory can accommodate 5 people on board and has a 30hp Yamaha outboard. The boat has a fish finder, dry storage compartment, flat floor and seat cushions. This boat is easy to beach launch due to the size and weight.
The 4.0m Quintrex Fishseeker is powered by a 25hp Yamaha outboard. This boat has a dry storage compartment, flat floor and seat cushions. A tilt trailer ensures launching and retrieval are a breeze even for beach launches. Maximum of 4 persons on board.
The hirer must have an Australian boat licence and produce a copy at the time of hire. The hirer must also have a vehicle fitted with a tow bar as all boats are hired out on trailers. Rates are full day hires only, reduced weekly and consecutive day rates available. Discount 10% off hire rates if you are staying at Southern Ocean Lookout accommodation.
